Etoxa tablets are film- coated tablets that contain etoricoxib, which is used to relieve pain and reduce inflammation in the body.
Etoricoxib belongs to a selective COX- 2 inhibitor, a group of non- steroidal anti- inflammatory drugs that prevent the secretion of substances that cause inflammation.
Selective COX- 2 inhibitors are distinguished from other NSAIDs in their ability to relieve pain and reduce inflammation without causing severe stomach side effects.
Etoxa tablets are particularly used to relieve inflammation and swelling caused by osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and spondylitis.
