Tegretol 2% Syrup 100 ml For Epilepsy and Convulsions
Tegretol 2% Syrup contain Carbamazepine.
Carbamazepine is an anticonvulsant.
Tegretol works by decreasing nerve impulses that cause seizures and pain, so it is used to prevent and control seizures.

Points of interest:

• Tegretol may take up to 4 weeks before your symptoms improve.

• Do not stop using Tegretol 2% Syrup suddenly, even if you feel fine. Stopping suddenly may cause increased seizures.



Side effects of Tegretol:

• Dizziness, loss of coordination, problems with walking.

• Nausea, vomiting;.

• Drowsiness.



Cautions:

• You should not take Tegretol if you have a history of bone marrow suppression.



Interactions of Tegretol syrup:

• Do not use Tegretol if you have taken an MAO inhibitor in the past 14 days. A dangerous drug interaction could occur.
