Rowachol Caps 50'S For Hepatobiliary Disorder
Rowachol contains essential oils that help to dissolve or break up cholesterol- based gallstones. It also reduces the cholesterol content of bile, an important digestive juice that is formed in the liver.
This may enable existing gallstones to dissolve and help prevent new gallstones from forming.
Rowachol also increases bile production and relaxes the bile ducts. This helps reduce painful spasms of the bile ducts.
It also makes it easier for any gallstones present to be passed out (expelled) with the bile.
Rowachol Capsules are intended for use in the breaking up (dissolving or disintegrating) or passage (expulsion) of gallstones.

Side Effects of Rowachol:

• Side effects are uncommon and minor.

• A small number of patients have noted eructation and a peppermint taste after meals.

• This can be reduced or avoided by taking rowachol on an empty stomach thirty minutes before meals.

• An insignificant number of patients noted soreness of mouth and buccal ulceration - an effect which can be rapidly reverted by discontinuation of the drug.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the preparation During the trimester of pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Also in patients with biliary colic, acute inflammation of the bile ducts, and liver damage.

Drugs Interactions of Rowachol:

• Caution should be used in patients receiving oral anticoagulants or other agents metabolized by the liver where the dose is critical.

• Reduced cholesterol intake in the diet is advisable.
