Cosopt eye drops are designed to treat high pressure inside the eye to prevent damage to the optic nerve caused by elevated pressure.
The drops contain two active ingredients: dorzolamide and timolol. Dorzolamide belongs to a group of medications that help reduce intraocular pressure,
While timolol works to reduce the production of fluid in the eye, thereby contributing to lowering eye pressure.

• Before using COSOPT, it's important to discuss your medical history with your doctor.

• Let them know about any eye or medical conditions you have now or have had in the past, including:

- Coronary heart disease, which can cause symptoms like chest pain, tightness, breathlessness, or a choking sensation

- Irregular heart rhythms, such as a slow heartbeat

- Breathing issues like asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
